At 18:00, Kudo keeps giving Kaito pointers for next time to better trick him. Like I constantly think every time when Kudo has to point out to Kaito Kid why he saw through his disguise or trick, why does he explain it so Kaito Kid can trick him better next time? Like, something even simple or small like telling him, "Professor Agasa does not call me Conan-kun in private". That is something he can keep to himself so next time he can catch Kid if he disguises are Professor Agasa again...

ahhh hahhhhh! hmmm! i was wondering what that kinda vague 'pun sketch' at the end between Kaito and Shinichi meant... if you check the episode list at anime-planet dot com/users/knoxyal/lists/detective-conan--watching-guide-470313? under the heading "4) Kaitou Kid Episodes" you'll see that the NEXT KK episodes aren't until 983-84 in Season 30 October 3 and 10, 2020. so from ep888 Jan 2018 that will be... 95 EPISODES and TWO YEARS! without a Shin vs Kid encounter. if you look back at the MAL entry for Magic Kaido (where kid hijacks some Conan TV episodes entirely) those ended back in December 2012. and the Magic Kaito 1412 stand-alone TV series ended in March 2015.

this was a fun pair, most definitely a total KO and win for Conan with an assist by Subaru in this one. Kaito didn't even need to show up and check the moonstone to see if it was Pandora. he had already examined it using moonlight at a previous time. ah well, Kid gave ol Man Suzuki Jirokichi a visit to be an honorable opponent. but Kid seriously put his life on the line taking a secret picture of Subaru. ;) poor lil thief could have ended up sniper-bait or hauled off to the USA in a 'super-secret squirrel operation' to be confined in an 'undisclosed location' for an 'indeterminate period of time'. :D
